All Supermites and U8 skaters will be evaluated using the Hockey Education Program (HEP).  HEP evaluations are NOT a tryout.  HEP is a series of 5 skating drills each of which are timed.  We record and add the best time for each drill to give a cumulative score.  We use this data to track skill development from fall to spring as well as help aid team formations.  With regards to team formations, our 2 goals are to:

1. Place skaters at an appropriate level to maximize their skill development  
2. Build teams by elementary school while trying to keep HEP scores balanced across teams.

• You must attend your scheduled session.  If you are not able to attend, please contact Troy Fodstad at supermite@omgha.com or Hailey Fischer at girlsmite@omgha.com
• Just like with any practice, please tell your kids to have fun and do the best they can!
• Goalies - should plan to skate in their skater gear.
