OMGHA encourages you to participate in the 3rd Annual Hockey Explosion!   Here is an email from the organizer,  explaining more about the event:

My name is Dana and I am so proud to be Tucker’s mom.  Tucker died three years ago at age 9 ½ from a rare bone cancer, osteosarcoma.  While he loved playing hockey for Hopkins, making friends, having fun, and caring about family & others were his true passions.  He did that everywhere, but especially on the rink and on the ball field.

Tucker’s Hockey Explosion is an event created for kids to do Tucker’s favorite things: Play hockey, Laugh with friends, Make new friends and Love being healthy.  Each youth participant will play small sided games with kids from across the metro while music is playing and crowds are cheering. High school players will take part in a skills competition and full rink game.  We are especially excited to have the Wild sled hockey team come play for us and invite players to go down to the rink and try it!  These athletes are amazing and you will have a chance to talk with them before and after their ice time.

Included in the $16 registration fee is a commemorative t-shirt and swag bag, along with the ice time.  This is a family event with games, a bounce house, and food for everyone.  Please stop by our raffle where you will find over 60 great prizes ranging from Wild game tickets to a Paw Patrol nap mat!  All proceeds go to our 501c3 nonprofit which helps sick kids stuck in the Masonic Hospital and healthy kids stuck without sports.

So parents, please register your son/daughter for the Hockey Explosion at www.PlayLaughLove.org.  OMGHA supports Tucker’s legacy of kids enjoying the sport they love in its most basic, child-like form.  Coaches are asked to also encourage your players to register and go play at Team Tucker’s Hockey Explosion.  Space is limited so please sign up soon!
