This season, OMGHA traveling teams will be sporting new jerseys.  There are some changes to the look and feel of the jerseys.

Why are we changing jerseys this year?

In May, we distributed a survey to the association.  Among the 15 questions asked were satisfaction with the jersey colors and the jersey quality.  Those questions received the most unfavorable responses, by far.  We received 311 responses to the survey questions, and only 29% of our membership liked our jerseys from last year.

How did we select the new jersey's?

We partnered with the Lettermen Sports designer, and asked them to provide us with several different jersey designs and colors.  Initially OMGHA was presented with over 20 designs in many different OMGHA colors.  The board helped narrow down to a handful of choices.

Engaging the kids

Over one week in the summer, we asked OMGHA players to come up to the rink and let us know what jerseys they liked.  Overall, they really like the options and especially liked the colors.  Their input was instrumental in the jersey selection.

What about the quality?

The jerseys will be much more durable than last year's jersey.  They are still lighter than the older jersey with the patches, but will be heavier than last year. 

What about goalie practice jerseys?

Our goalies wanted to have a cool practice jersey, so we sought out some designs and did some informal polling among some of our goalies.  As the picture shows, our goalies will have the brickwall jersey to wear for practices.  

Your feedback is important!  Jerseys, along with improvement in our dryland facilities, were the two areas that received the most dissatisfaction, so OMGHA has responded to both of those concerns.
