Bailey's Toy Drive

May 22nd – 26th

For the University of Minnesota Masonic Children’s Hospital

Bailey Moore and her triplet siblings Brooklyn and Jordan are 2nd graders in the Osseo-Maple Grove community. Bailey was born with tetralogy of Fallot, which is a combination of four major heart defects, and underwent open heart surgery at 6 weeks old to repair her heart and give her a second chance at life.

In celebration of Bailey's first open heart surgery in May 2009, our family has organized "Bailey's Toy Drive" every May since in honor of her. This is our 8th year collecting donations.

From May 22nd-26th we will be collecting donations for children of all ages who have extended stays in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) & Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at the University of Minnesota Masonic Children's Hospital. These toys will help brighten their day and make their stay a little easier.

Donations of NEW toys, games, books, rattles, blankets, match box cars/trucks, Play-Doh, baseball cards, pajamas, baseball hats, underwear, socks, lotion, t-shirts, iTunes gift cards, chapsticks/lip glosses, arts and crafts kits and supplies, etc. can each go a long way towards brightening a child’s stay in the hospital. The children’s ages range from infant to 21 year olds, so anything and everything for that age span is greatly appreciated. The children receiving these donations have severely compromised immune systems so only NEW, not gently used, items can be accepted.

If you would prefer to make a monetary or gift card donation, please make checks payable to University of Minnesota Masonic Children's Hospital and please include Child Family Life in the memo section.
